Gorgeous waterfall, right by the Zip Line
A Zip Line is a steel wire, stretched over a 500 feet wide river / waterfall.
One end is anchored to a HUGE Banyan tree That is Larry in the "starting gate", ready to go!
He's off! Backwards! Actully, of three "launches", a running start was the most fun!
You are in a harness, snapped to a roller on the Zip Line. Yes, that's Larry!
The takeoff "Chute". Two guys check all your connections. It's a LONG way down!
Looking "Down" along the wire. It looks further in person!
You REALLY get going fast! This photo was panned, so you get the idea......
The other end has a stopper, just before you hit another big tree! Then they have to get you unhooked, and you climb down the tall (10 ft?) stepladder.
