To get to Qaqortoq, it is by ship (or boat), or one of these scheduled helicopters from Narsarsuaq, where there is a small airport with small airplane service to the capital of Nuuk, and bigger airplane on to Denmark or Iceland. We figure from the US, it would take at least three airplanes flights, and probably two helicopter flights.
